Meet the Team
Cordell Reimer moved to Calgary, Alberta from Gronlid, Saskatchewan in 2000. He studied Business Operations at DeVry Institute of Technology, and soon thereafter began his career in the fast paced Oil & Gas Industry. Cordell is passionate about his own children, and after having identified a real need for alternative ways for parents to obtain reliable childcare, he and his business partners decided to start Need a Sitter (NAS) in January 2016. In his free time, Cordell loves to play hockey and enjoys his weekends with his wife Julie and his daughters, Maëlle and Amelia. Cordell is truly grateful for the opportunity to start this business and looks forward to it growing and helping out the many people who “Need a Sitter”.
Tim Rattai has built a successful career in sales over the last 20 years, having started in photocopier sales as a fresh college graduate, to his current profession as an Industrial Commercial Realtor in Calgary, Alberta. Tim is the proud father of 2 wonderful kids, and the love he has for them has helped him see the vision and possibilities of “Need A Sitter.” In his spare time, Tim is an avid sports enthusiast, and plays many sports, with a special love for hockey and golf.
Jason is a professional salesperson who has spent his career in the oil and gas industry. Jason moved to Calgary in 2005 where he met the other members of the NAS team. Although Jason does not have any children of his own, he is aware of the need for parents to find trusted, reliable childcare while spending time with his friends and family. In his free time Jason likes to play hockey, golf, and also enjoys curling and skiing. Jason looks forward to helping connect dependable sitters with families through “Need A Sitter.”
